Nestled in a unique location that was the New Great Eastern Mills in Mumbai, Far out left, a boutique festival with a unique music program, opened its doors for the first time couple of months back. . Spread across 2 days the event was organised by Mumbai based booking agency Regenerate, in association with Social Offline with support from Red Bull Music.
The lineup of the festival was quite an eclectic one. Nationals talents such as Kohra b2b FILM , Blurry Slur, Manalii, @Twokid Wickid, Tasnneem and Plan B alongside the likes of stage played host Danny Daze, Mathew Jonson over two days at the Smirnoff Experience Stage.
The Red bull music stage took over the antiSocial stage and was host to some exquisite music, featuring the acidic, forward thinking sounds by the likes of Auro Halal and Dj Nobu. Also performing were local talents Likwid and Chabb Audio.
Safe to say that with their unique music selection, the crew has managed to captivate the audience with a lineup that strays a bit from away from the conventional. At a time where lineups are usually less creative with promoters and clubs being a bit unimaginative and taking less risks, events like these is perhaps what is needed of the hour. Far Out Left is here to stay.
