The last couple of years has seen a significant rise in a significant number of talented artists that are part of the growing leftfield music movement in India. Thanks to DIY platforms such as Soundcloud and Bandcamp, where they have found an avenue to express their craft. With a myriad acts hitting the scene from across all corners of India every year, some of the most electronic music artists are now cutting through the ranks. Here are some of our picks.


_Rhl

_Rhl is Bangalore based Rahul Giri, label head of Consolidate who is also one half of the electronic duo Sulk Station. His music is a heady mix of abstract electronica, hip hop and drum n bass.


Asymetrik

Asymetrik is the new experimental music alias of world renowned techno producer Arjun Vagale that blends broken beats, lush soundscapes, abstract industrial tones and intricate melodies.


Audio Pervert

Samrat from the capital city of delhi is the man behind the moniker Audio Pervert. His productions encompass a variety of styles ranging from smooth electro, micro house and electronica.

Flashes of glitch, abstract textures and leftfield techno can be heard in the music of Ashhar Farooqui from Delhi
