Color Ray




Color Ray is the moniker of progressive and deep house producer and DJ, Shrinivas Sundar aka Vas. Color Ray’s music is unique & experimental, combining sounds from deep house, tech house, tribal tech, progressive house, soulful house and techno. Dharmalogy is Calcutta based Dharambir Balmiki. His productions are boundless and ever evolving, but the core of his music remains deep, hypnotic and emotive.

Film


Film is the moniker of Sanil Sudan, hailing from Delhi. This upcoming talented artist has a unique sound that lives suspended between two worlds, oscillating between house and techno. One that is deeply moving, emotional electronic music with shades of even Jungle, Hip Hop and electronica. Film is a regular feature on Kohra’s Qilla imprint along with other notable releases on Lowlit records.

 

Hans Seance


A versatile Dj as well as an ingenious music producer, Mumbai based Hans Seance dreamy productions that sits between Deep and Progressive House. He’s performed at top notch festivals such as Enchanted Valley Carnival and across the country across Mumbai, Bangalore, Goa , Kolkata and more. He’s graced decks alongside the likes of Guy Mantzur, Agents of Time, Dave Seaman and has his productions out on top imprints such as Movement, Balkan Connection, Qilla ,Beat Boutique and more.

Greg Tomaz


One of the brightest talents currently in the circuit , hailing from Kerala , Bangalore based Juicebox artist Greg Tomaz made his presence felt with a release on the acclaimed label, Mistique Digital Records. A slew of top notch releases followed on Balkan Connection, Proton’s Particle Records and home label Juicebox Music. Known for his aesthetic sense of music, his distinct Dj sets have led him to share stages with the likes of Nick Warren, Brian Cid, Cubicolor and many more. He was also formerly spotlighted by Frisky Radio as ‘Artist of the Week’. 

Jay Pei


Another upcoming talent hailing from Delhi, who has pioneered his own unique sound, enthralling audiences with it across the length of the country throughout the last couple of years.

Having released on imprints such as Qilla, Dear Deer, Wind Horse amongst others. Moving with a unique ebb and flow, Jay’s penchanct for composing melodies, Jay is constantly producing new music for his live sets and forthcoming releases and draws inspiration from behemoths including Recondite, Gardens of God, Tale of Us, Mind Against and Stephan Bodzin.

Greenage


Goa based Greenage’s sound can be described as powerful, melodic and progressive laid on an unmistakable chunky groove , with his productions having graced the Beatport charts on a number of occasions. Releasing consistently on Juicebox, Balkan connection, Its Purr and other reputed importing, Greenage has been steadily making a reputation for himself with his music having found its way on the playlists of Markus Schulz, Nick Warren, Dimitry Molosh, Miss Melera and others. He’s performed several reputed clubs across the nation . in 2017, he also started his own radio show called ‘ Code Green’ on Proton Radio reaching thousands of listeners every week. 

Priya Sen


Priya sen is steadily honing craft not only as the leading female artists in India, but also as a household name in the house music scene. Her original productions and remix work are already out on international music labels such as Modern Agenda, Stripped Digital, Manmademusic Recordings and Emotional Content Recordings. She has also played alongside bigwigs such as John Digweed, Blondish , Guy J and one of her idols Hernan Cattaneo, who has been playing her tracks frequently in his sets. She is also a writer for Decoded Magazine and Underground Tel Aviv. Priya also hosts her own show ‘Provocateur’ on the mighty Frisky Radio. 

Rudra


Kolkata seems to be producing a lot of great house music talent over the years. Another artist to add to the list is Rudra. A blend of smooth progressive house, trancey elements and emotive melodies characterise his music. He has a consistent set of releases on imprints such as Soupherb, Aboriginal and Big Mamas House. Beyond the studio , Rudra is also active as a programmer for Phoenix Club in Kolkata , promoting underground music talent from all over the country.

 

Sandeep Pai


Bangalore based Sandeep Pai he debuted his first EP on Mistique Music with consequent releases on Qilla Records, Nuevadeep, Spring Tube and many more that have been globally supported by Eelke Kleijn, Mpathy, Hernan Cattaneo and Praveen Achary.  A top talent to watch out for in the future, Going from strength to strength as a DJ and Producer, Sandeep’s intricate sets and productions have a sense of depth and take you on a deep journey. He’s played alongside Jody Wisternoff, Petar Dundov, Guy Mantzur, Martin Roth and many more.

Troja


Another Kolkata lad and a future house star in the making armed with an eclectic sound that crosses over between House, ethno, acid and shades of Techno, Troja is undoubtedly one of the finest house music  talents to emerge from India in recent times. He has several top notch releases on very reputable imprints including the mighty Get Physical music. After pretty much playing all across the nation the part Berlin based artist  has had an impressive run of performances across Europe at top notch clubs such as Berlin’s Kater Blau, Rtter Butzke , Opium in Belgrade amongst many. 

Tasnneem


Tassneem is perhaps one of the best deep house talents to emerge out of India in a long time. Having already played at venues across India in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, she has also been billed at venues in Sri Lanka, Dubai. Her sets are an intricate blend of soulful, yet edgy sounds that are warm with lush atmospheres encompassing the spaces of jazz,funk, nu-disco, deep house, tech-house and techno. After a slew of soulful releases on Wind Horse Records, 2020 will see some of her new productions in the first half half of the year.

Varun Fernandes


Another impressive talent hailing from Goa, Varun Fernandes is a key figure in the music circuit in the techno/house music scene in Goa. He’s had a good run of solid releases on imprints 

such as Soupherb, Electronic Tree , Groove 9 and Balkan Connection. A versatile producer his productions are a lively mix of progressive, house, techno with shades of minimal thrown in between, Varun also runs Evolve , a party series that hosts some of the best talent in the country as well as upcoming international acts at one of Goa’s top venue’s , the beach club Chronicle.

Weird Sounding Dude


Bangalore’s Weird Sounding Dude, is undoubtedly India’s finest progressive house artist amongst the new generation of India’s burgeoning house music talent. With an impressive array of releases continuously over the last year on high quality labels such as Plattenbank, Perspectives Digital, Balkan Connection, Juicebox music amongst many. He’s been regularly performing all across South India and just notched up his first international performance in Sri Lanka. His music is heavily supported by the likes of Cid Inc, Hernan Cattteneo, Guy Mantzur and plenty of high grade progressive house dons. 2020 has already started with a slew of solid releases and much is yet to come from this great talent.
