Shaun Moses is arguably the most prominent techno export from India right now having had several releases over the last few years on some of the genre’s leading imprints such as Tronic , Octopus , Senso , Suara amongst others as well raking up an impressive tour schedule across India and Europe.
For his second outing on Gem records , he teams up with none other than the label boss himself , the legendary Dutch techno figure Secret Cinema. Having met in Goa a couple of years back, the two have seemed to form a good partnership that seemingly has come to fruition with Shaun being invited to Gem for the first time for a remix after Jeroen was quite impressed with Goan native’s musical abilities.
On their latest collaboration titled Neon Nebula , the duo explores their styles merging to create dance floor friendly techno , yet with quality throbbing grooves. Neon Nebula has that hypnotic touch with the melodies , while Beat Da Dawn , as the title suggests is definitely geared towards a smooth sunrise session.
Both tracks feature Secret Cinema and Shaun Moses’ signature sound, which draws on the rich history of techno while pushing the genre forward with their unique perspective
